We created this self-portrait and community members project with the students of Partnership Elementary to reflect the community in and around the school. Funded by Partnership PTA and the United Arts Council of Wake County.
Students were shown how to create a portrait using proportion and color mixing to show light and dark colors.
A just finished group of portraits and community members.
The pieces the students created were glued onto a larger piece of plywood and displayed in the playground at the school.
